Holy Day Rituals
I want to extend my heart to all of you during this Festive Season of giving. We are entering a new time. A new Era is glowing and it is Golden.
For many, this time of year can create stress & expectation to keep up with the many traditions we have carried in our Families & among our loved ones.
I remember a time when everything had to be in a certain way because it was tradition. As the years went by, I transitioned into a more relaxed way of celebrating life’s joyous moments.
In 2018, I wanted to celebrate the holy days in a special way, in a new way. I decorated the house with red, live poinsettias & created an Earth alter on the dining room table. My sons & I co-created a sumptuous (gluten-free/sugar-free) feast of appetizers, desserts, spring rolls, & hardy full-on Won ton Soup.
The event unfolded with joyful ambient music & harmonious connection. We consecrated the food by connecting with the Earth, giving thanks for nourishing our bodies & Spirits, and for sharing this precious moment.
After dinner, an anointment took place of burning resins of frankincense, myrrh, & sandalwood. I smudged the auras of my two Kings.
I then rubbed a dab of the oils & anointed their crown, forehead, & heart reciting a Mantra, “You are a gift to the world, you are light, you are loved, you are holy, you are free, you are life. Welcome to your Kingdom.” And hugged them dearly.
After the ritual, we all participated in another ritual – one of washing the dishes. TOGETHER. 🙂
